Audio guides, messages to your visitors, and QR codes

Three new things that make Mapifest a better fit for tours and events.

Audio for any place

Upload a recording to any place and it plays right in that place's card. City walks and museum tours can now be narrated, so visitors can listen as they go instead of reading on the move.

Messages to your visitors

When plans change, you can now send a message to everyone who turned on notifications for your map. Visitors decide whether they want them, and they can switch them off again in the map's settings.

Open it from a QR code

Every map now has a QR code next to its address in the editor. Put it on a poster, a ticket or a sign, and anyone can open your map with their phone's camera. Visitors can show a QR code of their own, too, to share the map with the person next to them.
