Directions anywhere, and lighter on mobile data
Two improvements for the people using your maps, wherever they happen to be.
Directions anywhere
Visitors can ask for directions to any place on your map and choose how they're traveling: walking, cycling or driving. Directions now work anywhere in the world, so a guide on the other side of the globe gets the same help as one around the corner. As the author, you decide whether your map offers directions at all.
Lighter on mobile data
Opening a map no longer downloads everything in it. Visitors get the pages and a basic map up front, and the rest as they look at it, so a quick look costs them very little data.
Offline when they want it
Anyone who wants the whole guide offline can keep it on their home screen with just a tap, with more of the map and the photos and audio you chose to include. Nobody is made to install anything, and in the editor the Offline content card lets you decide what that copy holds.
